Payment Methods

The Payment Methods tab allows you to control the types of online payments that you accept for your orders. Remember, by default DecoGro allows your customers to pay with either Card or ACH (bank account). You can choose to allow only Card Payments or only ACH Payments if you prefer.

You can also choose to only allow cards up to a certain $ amount. You may want to do this to minimize processing fees.

You can find details about your processing fees in the Admin Settings under Payments.

Can I Edit Payment Methods for Specific Customers?

Yes, you can edit payment methods for specific customers.

To edit payment method settings for an entire company, go to the company details page for that company, then click on the payment settings tab.

To edit payment method settings for a specific contact within a company, go to the contact details page for that contact, then click on the payment settings tab.

How Do I Minimize Processing Fees and Risk?

ACH Payments always have a lower processing fee than Card Payments, however ACH payments can take much longer to process. Unlike a Card Payment which is verified instantly, it is possible that an ACH Payment fails and is returned similar to a bad check.

You have complete control over how you accept payments in DecoGro, and can make adjustments depending on your business needs and your customers' preferences.
