What is a User?
A User is anyone with their own login for DecoGro. Standard subscriptions and above allow for multiple user on one DecoGro subscription.
How Do I Invite New Users?
To invite a new user, go to the Users tab in the admin menu, then click the + Invite User button. From here you can enter the user's name, email, phone number, and select their role. To learn more about Roles, Click Here.
Once you hit the Send Invite button, the new user should receive an email inviting them to setup their account. All they need to do is follow the link in the email to setup their password.
What If The User Didn't Receive the Email Invite?
First, make sure that the email that was entered is correct and contains no typos. If the email is incorrect, you should delete that user and send a new invite to the correct email.
Second, check to make sure the email is not in your junk or spam folders. If you still can't find the email, we can resend the invite.
To resend the invite, click the three dots button next to the user, and then click Resend Invitation. Then wait a few minutes for the email to show up in your inbox, junk, or spam.
If you follow the steps above, and you still don't see the email invite after 15 minutes, feel free to reach out to support.
How Do I Edit a User?
To edit an existing user, the user must have already accepted their invitation to join DecoGro. Just click the three dots button next to that user and click edit. Here you can change the user's name, phone, password, role, or status.
How Do I Delete a User?
To delete an existing user, just click the three dots button next to that user and click delete.
Please note that deleting a user cannot be undone. If you delete a user, you will lose all of that users data and activity records. If you simply want to revoke a user's access, we recommend changing their status to inactive. This will retain the users data, but stop them from logging in.
What is a User's Status?
The user's status shows whether or not they have access to DecoGro. There are three possible statuses:
- Active users have accepted their invitation and have access to DecoGro.
- Inactive users have had their access revoked. They cannot login or use DecoGro.
- Invitation Sent means a user has not accepted their invite or accessed DecoGro yet.
